Ami is committed to making art relevant and accessible to all audiences. She has worked as a museum professional and consultant since 1998, with a focus on leadership, fundraising, and education. She has served institutions such as New Museum Los Gatos, J. Paul Getty Museum, Monterey Museum of Art, Orange County Museum of Art, San Jose Museum of Art, and Santa Cruz Museum of Art & History. She holds an M.A. in Art History from California State University, San Jose, and a B.A in Art History from the University of California, Santa Cruz. She has also served as an instructor for courses in contemporary art at UCLA Extension and has been a panelist and presenter at numerous national museum conferences. Ami lives in Santa Cruz, California with her family.
